Members working for non-signatory contractors in roles as Management, Journeypersons, and Apprentices MUST sign a salting agreement. We need members to help with worksite organizing, to reach out to the unrepresented workers and to contact non-union employers. Salting a non-union contractor is a tremendous opportunity to show your skills to the non-union contractor and their employees, while also gathering information about the non-union contractor. A Salt can find the names and addresses of employees, wage rates, jobs, company policies and rules, and other useful information. Talk to your Organizer today to better prepare yourself for the future. Organizing is a vital part of being in a union and it is everyone’s responsibilities to carry the message of organized labor to every working person.

Please bid on this job call only if you are currently working out of scope. The definition of scope is: NOT working as an apprentice, RSE, Foreman or General Foreman in the electrical industry. If you are working in those positions, you MUST sign a salting agreement. By letting us know that you are currently working out of scope we are able to verify how many members are available for upcoming work.
