This is an Industrial job. This job is starting August 6th, working 5 days a week, 8 hours per day at Gerdau.
Estimated duration: 3 weeks.
Shift: From 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job site conditions: heavy industrial facility, very dusty and greasy conditions, hot working Environment (30°C) plus lots of stairs and heavy lifting, full FR clothing.
Job requirements: physically demanding work, heavy lifting tight areas, fall arrest, lock out tag out, respirator use, electrical testing cable, pulling plc terminations.
The call will go out as a 5/8 hour days, then will grow to 7/10s over the shutdown period, possibly to 7-12s.
The online orientation can be completed on a smartphone; however, using a computer is recommended. It must be completed August 6th. Site orientation is August 7th @ 7:00 a.m.

Estimated duration: 2 months.
Job site conditions: Indoor school, lighting replacement, ladder and scaffold work.
NOTE: Workers that wish to stay on in September or past must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check and a police background check.
Note: Live out/Travel paid as per the CBA. Dispatch Unit 1.
Orientation is August 7th @ 8:00 a.m. at 1540 Saskatchewan Avenue, Winnipeg, MB (and online).
