Coughlin & Associates values the security of your private health information and with that in mind, we wish to advise you of an upcoming change to our health and dental claim submission procedures.
Beginning January 1, 2025, Coughlin & Associates will no longer accept health and dental claim submissions from plan members or service providers by e-mail. As of that date, all claims must be submitted by:
Please note that prior to January 1,2025, Coughlin & Associates will continue to accept e-mail claims.
While we can all recognize the convenience that e-mail provides, we must also be aware that public e-mail is not a secure means of communication. Submitting your claims using e-mail places significant amounts and types of personal health information at risk. That is why the group benefits industry and Coughlin & Associates have elected to halt the use of e-mail as a means of claims submission.
While we encourage you to share this communication with the members of your benefit plan, Coughlin & Associates will also be providing notification to plan members via several different communication means:
