Updated options for ASP course

Quebec's Local 568 is still looking for electricians. Attached you can find the Procedure for Workers from Outside Quebec.

You MUST be an RSE , have a Valid Driver's License and have completed the ASP (Health and Safety on Construction Sites) Course. This course takes 30 hours online. You must have access to a computer to do this with a working webcam. This course costs $300.00. 

  • Once approved, send a copy of the following requirements:
    • Red Seal and all other electrical training certificates (some of which we have on file)
    • Driver's license
    • ASP certificate (Health and Safety on Construction Sites)
    • Approved Forms
  • We can then reach out to Local 568 to request job calls, we would then supply a letter of introduction to the receiving local.

Local 568 needs 15-20 journeymen’s for different job sites and various contractors in the Quebec City area. They have different work schedules depending on the contractors and workplaces, but it varies from 4 days of 10 hours plus overtime at double time after 40 hours, plus a daily allowance of $175 (7 x 175$=1225$ weekly). Some jobs are 50 hours/week and some are 60 hours/week.
